Sayonara. Ciao. Adios. Adieu. Aloha. Arrivederci. Auf Wiedersehen. Au Revoir. Shalom. Totsiens. Zaijian. Goodbye 2018. You stunk! Will this go down on record as the worst year ever? Doubtful. God willing I have quite a few more in front of me, but it'll be in the top 10 of suckiest years for a multitude of reasons. So instead of focusing on the past, let me share with you my hopes for 2019, in no particular order...
Start painting & drawing again
Rediscover my love for reading
Take beautiful nature photographs
Continue building relationships in the lacrosse community to help grow the sport
Find something my son and I can volunteer on together
Gain self-confidence & self-acceptance
Continue blogging / vlogging
Start to exercise again
Travel more
Find a boyfriend to share life with
Not yell at my son so much
Let the past go and focus on the future
Be myself, not a made-up version I think people want to see
Share bad puns and make Star Trek references
Smile & laugh as much as I can
So as 2018 comes to a close, whether you've had a good year or bad, know that you're not alone. Take tiny steps or giant leaps, just as long as you're moving forward. If you get stuck, reach out, there is always someone who will help you begin moving forward again. I wish you and your families the very best 2019!

Great goals for the New Year!
